Today Emilio Cavallini presented his F/W 2012 collection in the Box at Lincoln Center and to sum it up Emilio is the Herve Leger of tights or better put He is the Emilio Cavallini of tights. Emilio's collection consisted of short tight dresses with an overall/jumper feel with suspender like appendages and magnificent tights, some embroidered, tights that actually come with a matching top giving the illusion of a cat suit. The line was very cute, young and flirty but............. I've seen it B4

Today I attended Zang Toi as he presented his NYFW collection and a collection it was! The collection was full of bold color, very solid with splashes of fun and flirtiness, he used a lot of satin and silk and to me it looked like he was inspired a little by chinese giesha because that's what came across. the collection was full with pieces ranging from modern remixed evening gowns to daring red gowns screaming matrimony, everything echoed timeless and classic with his use of color but staying true to the women's form and classiness, never too racy everything was made for a classy women. Also Zang used a lot of Black models coinciding with his use of orange and red hues and the models the Matched perfectly.

On February 12th Luzern Laborotories launched its NYFW Press Lounge, a place to go and get pampered between shows or just relax with a drink. The luzern Lounge was great with many amenities from one of a kind oxygen facials with Luzern Lab's luxurious products that give you a new look, a refreshed youthful look and quality that luzern is known for. Also on hand were free Nail Manicures by Paper Doll Boutique & Beauty Bar, makeup by Ignacia Cirino and Hair/Wig Consultations for the hair challenged from Milano Collection Wigs. Overall it was a great event that did its job to recharge and rest with music by Dj Lindsay Luv, photos by Christian Fernandez and delicious pre made cocktails by VnC for everyone to indulge in free of charge. This event was put together by Camoy Briscoe, who always seems to put together a really posh event for her guest and that she successfully did again, providing great gift bags with gifts and treats from New Beauty Magazine, Pure Ice, Zico, Elle's Pastry Boutique and more!!

Vilchez showcased her fierce f/w 2012 collection during NYFW at the Bryant Park Hotel in the heart of New York. Models took to the Red Carpet in their Vilchez Attire ready for war with fellow on point fashionistas. The event was sponsored and thrown by NYC It Girls in collaboration with G Master, Manhattan Motorcars and of course Vilchez gift bags, the event was great with good mingling great photo ops and of course the MADNESS of NYFW, which we love

Today is the third day of NYFW at Lincoln Center and its my first day. So far I've attended the Mara Hoffman F/W show which I sum up as Bohemian Desert CHIC, with the use of a lot of silk, jersey and many prints and hat headpieces. The collection was overall great with Mara obviously expressing her right to do as she wants mixing spring and fall and showing that you can be flirty and girly and still be warm and fierce!!

I attended Fashion Week once again this year to take in the trends and to see the overall flow of Fashion Week, well since my post is so late that should kinda of tell you how the week went. Fashion wise, fashion week was marvelous with spectacular shows like Emerson, Luca Luca and Tracy Reese but it had a very mellow and demure feel unlike seasons past and I feel that (they) are reaching their goal which in my opinion is to only have important people like buyers, editors, creative directors and such attend and keep the unimportant lushes at bay, which they did successfully this year with no one liquor sponsor luke Kim Crawford Wine which they always have instead new and healthy sponsors like Fiber One and Lifeway Kefer Yogurt and I'm all for it. Getting down to the real business and art of fashion is what we all should be doing as workers inside this industry.
